WHY SHOULD YOU BE A MEMBER OF YOUR HEALTH UNDERWRITER ASSOCIATION?

1.  Your local Association of Health Underwriters is an agency organization that cuts across all normal insurance barriers.   We have both independent and exclusive agents; men and women who represent life insurance companies, multiple-lines companies, and all-line groups.  We also have people from home offices, branch offices, and general agents and brokers.  Members include 30-year veterans in health sales as well as others who are new to the business this year.  Local chapter meetings bring all these insurance professionals together so they can discuss industry news and developments, issues and concerns, for the betterment of the industry as a whole.

5.   Your local Association of Health Underwriters opens the door to you to attend sales congresses on health insurance.  These are top programs with the nationally recognized speakers in the health field.  NAHU's Annual Convention, Disability Insurance Training Council, and Long Term Care Conference, which all members are urged to attend, have gained a reputation as the best meetings in the industry, offering the perfect blend of business sessions which are designed to help put dollars in your pocket, along with fun-filled social events for the entire family.
